Abstract: Ceramic filter materials whose performance is high and can be applied to sewage disposal was prepared from fly ashred mudcoal gangue and poor clay which come from one large-sized company of mining industry. Orthogonal experimental design method was used to found out the optimum composition of the filter materials. Physicochemical preoperty and microscopic structure show the porosity is high than 50%the crush force is 0.625kN and the pore is three-dimensionally connected.
