Abstract: The factors that influence the microwave dielectric properties of series BaO－TiO₂－Nd₂O₃ ceramics were investigated. By doping BaO－TiO₂－Nd₂O₃ ceramics with Pb and Bi‚the improved BaO－TiO₂－Nd₂O₃ ceramics with high Q（1/tgδ）‚low τ_f and low sintering temperature were obtained. This kind of material is used to make dielectric filters and miniature‚light and chip components for communication equipments in decimeter－wave region.
