Abstract: Producing glass－ceramic tiles in the cost of ceramic tiles has become one of noticeable subject．A composite tile with glass－ceramics as surface and normal ceramic as matrix has been obtained by putting special glass powders on the porcelain tile and then heating for crystallization according to designed temperature curve．The composite tile is as good as normal glassceramic tile and can be prepard at common ceramic tile factory in low cost．
