Abstract:  AlN powders containing no deliberate sintering additives were consolidated to 99 %of theoretical density at 1800 ℃ just for 4 min under 25 MPa using a Spark Plasma Sintering process .The SEM micrographs show fine grains and uniform microstructure .The experiment shows that SPS process can short consolidation process .
