Abstract: Film fabricated using electrophoreic deposition( EPD) has the advantages of simple setup, low cast, time saving, thinkness uniformity, etc .Titanium carbide has the potential employed as one part of composite because of its high melting point, good hardness, and excellent chemo -stability .In this paper, homogeneous TiC film was produced by EPD .The charged mechanism of TiC powder in dispersion medium was studied .The dispersibility of TiC powder and stability of TiC film was studied .All of these made it available to fabricate muliplayer composite compound with TiC layer .
