Abstract: This paper describes the mechanism and the structure of laser granulometer, introduces its characteristics and points out its applications in ceramic pigment and glaze industry. Examples are given to illustrate its usefulness in tests of ceramic pigment and glaze in their production and research, and then problems in practical application are explored and solutions are suggested.
