Abstract: The statistical characteristic of composition fluctuation of ceramic materials has been analyzed in the paper and then the author introduces the principle, ways of prehomogenization and appraisal method and indexes of its result. A case of the clay prehomogenization and its result from a ceramic company at home is of reference value to uses in the field.
