Abstract: In recent years,Chinese roller kiln cons truction has seen such a remarkable growth that almos tall ceramic tile manufacturers have got one for their product firing.And with the improvement of its technology, the roller kiln becomes longer and wider: some are over 200 meters in length and over 3 meters in internal width. This paper analyzed the influence of the size of the kiln on its production capacity and energy consumption by VB programming and then determined a reasonable size range for architectural ceramic roller kilns .
