Abstract: Calcium phospate cement (CPC) composed of tetracalcium phosphate(TTCP) and dicalcium phosphate anhydrous (DCPA)was studied. The effects of preparing conditions‚such as raw materials’particle size‚molar ratio of Ca to P and cement liquid‚on compressive strength and setting time of CPC were investigated systematicall. The relationship between the physical and chemical change‚the paste microstructure induced by setting reaction and mechanical property were analyzed‚providing a basis for determination of optimal preparing condition for high performance CPC.

Keywords: calcium phosphate cement‚compressive strength‚setting time
