Abstract: Calcium phospate cement (CPC) composed of tetracalcium phosphate(TTCP) and dicalcium phosphate anhydrous (DCPA)was studied. The effects of preparing conditionssuch as raw materials’particle sizemolar ratio of Ca to P and cement liquidon compressive strength and setting time of CPC were investigated systematicall. The relationship between the physical and chemical changethe paste microstructure induced by setting reaction and mechanical property were analyzedproviding a basis for determination of optimal preparing condition for high performance CPC.
