Second Harmonic Generation of The Li2O-Nb2O5-B2O3-TiO2 Transparent Crystallized Glasses

Abstract: The crystallized glass of Li2O-Nb2O5-B2O3-TiO2 system was prepared by heat treated method. The results of XRD and transmission spectrum show that transparent crystallized glass containing Li12Nb13O33 has been gained. The second harmonic generation (SHG) effect of the crystallized glass was studied by utilizing Maker-fringe technique, and the result indicated that Li12Nb13O33 in the glass induced the occurrence of SHG effect.
