Design of SF6 Gas Detector Based on the Principles of Pyrolysis and Electrochemical Reaction

Abstract: By adopting an effective and stable compound catalyzer as the pyrolytic agent, SF6 is decomposed at a low temperature into gases (SO2, HF) which can be easily detected. Then with the amplification of the out signals through a reliable micro-signal detection and processing system, SF6 can be indirectly detected by a new type of electrochemical gas sensors which have high sensitivity, little drift in humidity and temperature, and long service life.
