Development of the Ethylene Gas Sensor

Abstract: SnO2 nano-materials prepared by sol-gel method and then doped with some additives were painted on the heatertype ceramic tubes to make sensors for test. It is found sensors doped with 10%TiO2, 1%Sb2O3 and 1.5%AgNO3 have high sensitivity, good selectivity and rapid responsibility to 10×10-6(V/V) ethylene when the heat current is 120(250℃)mA.
