Abstract: Ca₃Co₄O₉ ceramics were prepared by a sol-gel method and the appropriate fabrication technologies were fixed.The micro-structures of the ceramic samples were characterized by us ing XRD and SEM. The thermoelectric properties were determined by measuring electrical res is tance and thermal conductivity.Ca₃Co₄O₉ceramics contain randomly-oriented plateshaped grains with layered s tructure.The fabrication technologies influence the micros tructures and thermoelectric properties greatly.
