Abstract: Ceramic roads and heritage corridors in Jingdezhen are symbols of ceramic culture of China and even the world, but with unprecedented care and damage, they've seen steady improvements in general while suffered continuous deterioration in parts. Through observations of ceramic cultural remains, historical production sites and relics of ancients' life, ceramic roads are established according to the internationally-accepted definition of a heritage corridor as regional cultural heritage routes. Approaches to protecting and applying these heritage corridors are expounded. The study is intended to provide exceptional evidence for the existing and disappearing ceramic culture and to present a new perspective for the research on ceramic roads and heritage corridors.
