Abstract: The calcium-magnesium-silicate ceramic fiber was treated with acid leaching method. The testing results show that contents of CaO and MgO decreased and that of SiO₂ increased after leaching treatments. With the concentration of sulfuric acid solution between 1 -3 mol/L, the crystallization temperature was elevated and the crystallization was inhibited maintaining the properties of fibers invariantly.
