Abstract: BaF2 Nanopowders were synthesized in reverse microemulsions containing CTAB, n-hexanol, n-octane, and water.Influences of ω0 (molar ratio of water to surfactant) on the morphology and size of the prepared BaF2nanomaterials were studied. X -ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy were used for the characterization of the structure and morphology of the obtained products. The results show that the diameters of the prepared nanomaterials were approximately80nm~800nm.
