Abstract: Particle-filled conductive composites, one of the current research focuses, have been widely used recently. However, their mechanical strength and electrical conductivity cannot always be exhibited at the same time; therefore, a deep understanding of conductive mechanism is needed in order to optimize the relationship between the former two. In this paper, formation of conductive network, which contained percolation theory, micro -structure model, interface thermodynamics model and effective medium theory, was discussed at macro level. And then, carrier migration process, which contained conductive channel theory, tunnel conductivity theory and field launch theory, was discussed at micro level. Moreover, advantages and defects of all models were analyzed respectively.
