Abstract: Embedded system technology and digital image process technology were used to detect tile size. S3C2410 were adopted as hardware platform, Redhat 9.0 as development platform and Open CV/embedded as the software tool. An algorithm to achieve the length and width, edge straightness and the direct angle of the tiles detecting were studied. Results showed that the system can meet the detecting demand for main sizes of tiles, and non -contact tile size detecting was achieved.
