Abstract: Perovskite synroc was synthesized by the sol-gel method, using Fe2O3, Ti, CaO and TiO2 as main raw materials, and simulated radioactive element Sr was immobilized in pervoskite synroc matrix through solid-state reaction. The as-formed sample was then analyzed by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The results indicate that the best result can be obtained when the mol ratio of Fe2O3∶Ti∶CaO∶TiO2=2∶3:4:1 and the doping amount of SrO is 10%.

Key words: sol-gel; perovskite synroc; simulated immobilization; performance analysis
