Flowers as Motifs in Women Ceramic Art and Their Expressive Modes

Abstract:  Women ceramics has emerged as a part of women art. Because of the material employed, women ceramics has developed its styles and forms strikingly different from other modern arts. This paper reviews some women ceramic works with flowers as their motifs to explain their expressive modes and characteristics so as to provide a good understanding of the cultural features of women ceramics and its influence on contemporary ceramic art.
