Abstract: This paper proposes a three-step synthesis method for Ca-La-Nb-Mo-O series compounds, and tries to explore its application as anode material of solid oxide fuel cell. The research shows that the stability of Ca-La-Nb-Mo-O series compounds are reduced with the increase of Mo contents when they are in reduced atmosphere at 900 ℃, the sintering properties and electric conductivity are improved as the Mo contents are increased. The electric conductivity of CaLaNbMoO8 can reach 4.1×10-1 S•cm-1 in humidified 5% H2-N2 at 900 ℃. Suitable selection of the ratio of Mo has important significance for the application.

Key words: solid oxide fuel cell; anode; three-step synthesis route; conductivity; stability
