Abstract: Glass fiber is an important reinforcing material owing to its excellent properties, such as high temperature resistance and acid and alkali resistance. However, it has poor compatibility and wettability for resin at the same time, so surface modification is necessary. In this paper, progress on the surface modification of glass fiber by different nanomaterials is expatiated and the main problems and development directions are discussed.
