Use of Precious Metal for Ceramic Jewelry Design

Abstract:Ceramic jewelry, a new type of green ornaments, is healthful, environment-friendly and decorative. It has already established its distinctive styles and created a stable group of consumers of its own. However, much work is yet to be done to improve its design to claim a larger share of market. In order to seek further development, ceramic jewelry has incorporated many elements into its design. Its collections paired with precious metals have already appeared in the market to meet its demand for expansion and the needs of its consumers. This paper observes the application examples of precious metal in ceramic jewelry from the perspective of market demands to provide theoretical basis for its further expansion down this line.
