Abstract: This paper introduces a new practical heat storage structure for the preheating zone of wide-bodied roller kiln. Its gas flow field and temperature field are numerically simulated via the FLUENT software, and the effect of the heat storage structure on the temperature field distribution of the preheating zone in the roller kiln is observed.
