Abstract: La3+-doped TiO2 nanofilm photoanode was prepared by hydrothermal method. Effects of La content on the photoelectric properties of dye-sensitized solar cells were studied. The results indicated La3+-doping is conducive to the generation of anatase type TiO2 powders and inhibits the grain size growing. The characteristic peaks of TiO2 and La3+-doped TiO2 are consistent with the X-ray diffraction peaks of standard anatase TiO2 crystals, and the crystal structure of TiO2 does not change. La doping can effectively improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency of La-TiO2 thin film photoanode. When the La content is 0.8%, the improvement effect is the most obvious. The circuit photocurrent density is increased by 13.59% and photoelectric conversion efficiency is increased by 16.90%.
