Abstract: (1-x)La0.5Na0.5WO4-xLa0.5Na0.5TiO3 composite ceramiccould be successfully densified after sintering at 900-1050 ℃. The dielectric permittivity increased obviously, Q × f value decreased, and the τf value changed from negative into positive with increasing La0.5Na0.5TiO3 phase content. The x=0.2 composition sintered at 950 ℃ exhibited the following microwave dielectric properties:τf ~ -3.5 ppm/℃, Q×f ~about 10000 GHz, εr -about 15. The chemical compatibility of the x=0.2 composition with copper and silver powders was also investigated, and it revealed that no chemical reaction was taken place.
