Abstract: Abstract: The crackled plum green glaze was prepared by using Korean materials and waste porcelain powder. Effects of waste porcelain powder concentrations on the properties of the crackled glaze were studied to seek to solve the pinholing of the glaze and to recycle the pileup of porcelain debris. The results showed that with the increase of the waste porcelain powder concentration, the green color became lighter, and the crackles were more sparsely distributed. When the waste porcelain powder concentration was 3%, the glaze exhibited jade-like texture in plum-green shade with small crackles due to the presence of many gas bubbles and unmelted quartz phases in the glaze. The study not only broadens the application of waste porcelain powder in celadon glaze preparation, but also is beneficial for production cost saving and environmental protection.
