Abstract: This paper systemically studies the effect of the content of different dispersants and pH values on the dispersion of the total slurry. The dispersion of the total slurry and the microstructure of the ZnO varistors were studied by Zeta and SEM. The results show that the total slurry either with 0.7wt.% dispersant A and the original pH value at 8.756 or with 0.3wt.% dispersant B and the original pH value at 8.659 possesses good dispersion effects, achieving low viscosity and with the least dispersant amount.
