Abstract: SiO2-BaTi0.9Zr0.1O3+0.5mol%Yb2O3 (SiO2-BZT) composite powder was prepared by liquid-phase cladding process. EDS detected the Si peak. XRD results showed that with the increase of the amount of SiO2, SiO2 entered the grains and produced a new phase Ba2TiSi2O8. SEM results indicated that, SiO2 encapsulation refined grains to some extent. With the increase in coating amount, dielectric-temperature characteristics were improved.
