Abstract: Graphene/SiO2 glass-ceramic materials were prepared by spark plasma sintering using graphene and mesoporous material SBA-15 as raw materials. The influence of different graphene content on the structure and properties of the composite samples was studied. The results show that the fractured surfaces of the composite samples became coarse and the mechanical properties were significantly improved due to the addition of graphene. The Vickers hardness and fracture toughness were increased with the increase of graphene content and they reached 11.98GPa and 3.36MPa·m1/2, respectively, when 1wt.% graphene was added. Compared with the sample prepared with SBA-15, the Vickers hardness and fracture toughness of the composites increased 60.4% and 43.6%, respectively.
