Abstract: First, the grinding process of vertical ceramic mill was analyzed, and the main factors influencing the grinding efficiency were determined. Then the dynamic model of the material particles on the mill table was established, and the state of the material layer in a steady state was simulated. Analysis of the simulation results shows the respective relationships of the table rotation speed, the material flow, the dam ring height, and the table tilt angle with the grinding efficiency. The established regression equations can provide reference for the optimization design and use of vertical mill.
