Development Process and Application Prospect of Flaky Aluminum Oxide

Abstract: Because of its unique two-dimensional lamellar structure and large diameter-thickness ratio, flaky alumina becomes one of research hotspots in the field of inorganic nonmetallic materials. This paper introduces the physical and chemical properties and application prospects of flaky alumina. Its classical experiment research methods and latest research progress both at home and abroad are summarized,and the advantages and disadvantages of their preparation methods are evaluated.
