Abstract: The single cell of planar anode supported SOFC was prepared by aqueous tape casting, and the influence of particle size of YSZ/NiO on electrical performance of anode functional layer was investigated. The size distribution of YSZ/NiO, phase, microstructure and composition of anode functional layer and electrical performance of single cell were characterized by laser particle analyzer, X-Ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy and electrochemical working station, respectively. The results show that, the maximum power density of the single cell of about 20 μm anode functional layer with the d50 for YSZ/NiO of 0.19 μm, 0.26 μm and 0.54 μm is 0.36 w/cm2, 0.32 w/cm2 and 0.28 w/cm2, respectively. And the polarization resistance accordingly is 0.56 Ωcm2, 0.64 Ωcm2 and 0.68 Ωcm2 using H2 +3%H2O as fuel gas and air as oxidant gas at 750 ℃. The mass ratio of YSZ and NiO is 48 : 52.
