Abstract: The synthesis principle of B-trichloroborazine (TCB) is described in detail in this paper. According to Lewis's theory of acid and alkali, B-trichloroborazine (TCB) was synthesized with boron chloride and ammonium chloride. Then poly[tri(isopropylamino)borazine](PTPiAB) was obtained from isopropyl amine and TCB by polymerization and nitridation. The nitrided products of the boron nitride were characterized by IR, TG-DSC and SEM. The results show that the heat resistance of boron nitride is good, and its structure is lamellar and porous, which makes it applicable for adsorption use.

Key words: B-trichloroborazine; thermal property; polymerization; nitridation
