Abstract: 5mol%YF3-CaF2 nano-power was prepared by direct precipitation method with Ca(NO3)2 , Y(NO3)3 and KF as raw materials. The influences of pre-sintering temperature and sintering temperature on the particle size and distribution of 5mol%YF3-CaF2 nano-power were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results show that 5mol%YF3-CaF2 nano-powder prepared by direct precipitation exhibits calcium fluoride fluorite structure; at the concentration of 5mol%, the doping has not changed CaF2 cubic phase, and the solid solution is formed; with its average particle size of about 20nm, the 5mol%YF3-CaF2 nano-powder has good dispersivity and uniform particle size distribution; the best pre-sintering temperature is 500 ℃ and the best sintering temperature is 900 ℃.
