Abstract:Zirconia ceramic knives of high qualities ceramic knives were prepared using aqueous gel-casting method in this paper. Some matters about aqueous slurries of high solid loading, gel casting and demolding were also solved. Results show that dimensional precision and surface quality are fine. Many performances have meet needs of product greatly. Meanwhile experiments prove aqueous gel-casting is a novel technique of low cost fabrication of zirconia ceramic knives and It will be used extensively.
