Abstract:Prescriptions of 90 alumina ceramics were designed by means of orthogonal experiment and linear programming so as to develop an optimal presription with good wear resistance .The results show that the wear resistance of alumina ceramics obtained in this work is less than that of commercial one.The relationship between the compositions and properties of the ceramics were investigated .
