Abstract: Focusing on the historical changes of the Jingdezhen wares and the corresponding craftsman spirit, the connotation of the Jingdezhen ware craftsman spirit was refined, in the light of the construction of the innovative experimental area for the transmission and inheritance of the national ceramic culture. Meanwhile, the present situation of the development of the ceramic industry in Jingdezhen was analyzed. It is proposed that high quality development of the Jingdezhen ware industry could only be realized by carrying forward the craftsman spirit.
