Abstract: By means of SEM, TEM, ESA, EDX and POM, changes in microstructure of three colors mixed samples fired at different temperatures have been studied. The results of studies show that in the sample Langyao red glaze there do exist some proportion of Cu20 and Cu crystals; when the temperature is on the low side or when reducing atmospohere is too weak, the white crystals separated out from the glaze surface are exwollastonites; its mirror black glaze is also a liquid-phase separate one, the diameter of isolated liquid drop is about 20nm and evenly distributed in glaze layers, thus resultting in increase of refracion and absorption of light and improvement, of its color generation ability.

Keywords: glaze, copper red, microstructure
