Abstract: The physical and chemical propertics and technology conditions of diopsidite in shanxi baoji has been studied systematically by means of OM SEM XRD. The result reveals the diopsidite which has a stick or a granule structure and contains a great mount of SiO2 , CaO, MgO. It has the advantage of good thermal stability , small IL. With addition 30 to 40 percent of the diopsidite and the other raw materials of shanxi in batch of the body can be processed into a ware tile conforming to national standard and its firing condition satisfactions of low一temperature quick fring.
