Abstract: In this paper, the quantitative relation between the mounting angle of boring tool and boring cutting face outline in boring process can be reasoned from discussing the movement of rotation error of boring machine spindle, thus it is possible to optimistically seek mounting angle so as to obtain the best processing effect. The crux of this practice is that the change in mounting angle of boring tool makes it possible for the position change in the relative main shaft of dynamic cutting-force vector to produce excellent effect of boring process in the best position. In practical application, the optimum selection of mounting angle can be achieved by the measure and evaluation of rotation error of boring machine spindle.
