Abstract: The ZnO –B₂O₃ – SiO₂ system were studied by means of different heat -treatment process and analysis of XRD、OTA and SEM. The crystallization process and crystallization kinetics of the system were characterized. The crystal­lized phases were Zn₂SiO₄ and ZnB₂O₄ and the activation energy of them were 628kJ/mol and 279kJ/mol respective­ly. Phase -separation was regarded as the main cause of glass crystallization. Also, the crystallization mechanism was discussed.
