Abstract: In this paper, the correlation between roller kiln thermal system's polynary kinetic signals is studied. The time -lag of kinetic change between the correlation variables is found, and is applied to the building of mathematical models. The computer simulation is carried out with the improved model, its result shows that forecasting accuracy is higher about 30 % than one with the original model: Therefore the study on correlation is of great importance to improving condition monitoring and forecasting system and forecasting contral system.
