Statistical Properties of Weibull Modulus Estimated with the Least Squares Method

Abstract: The statistical properties of Weibull modulus estimated with the least squares method are studied by Monte Carlo simulation technique. It is shown that the Weibull estimators follow a log normal distribution rather than a normal distribution.
