Abstract: SEM results of the sinterability of nanozirconia, which was prepared by cooperationmilling method, show that heating rate can influence the sintering behavoiur of nanozirconia powders containing agglomerates, homogeneous microstructure can be achieved by suitable heating rate, especially at 900°C to 1300°C, in which process grain sizes reduce and grow gradully afterwards while pore sizes become less, moreover, the shapes, numbers and sites of pores are very similar between as-fired sample and sample sintered at 1300°C, Then, the grain sizes grow further and pores change themselves continually.
