Abstract: After K2SiF6 is Precipitated, the acid in the mother solution is neutralized by the KOH solution without being filtered. The appropriate amount of F- and K + ions in the solution'can prevent the hydrolysis of fluoridized Fe, Al, Ca, Mg, Ti and so on, while K2SiF6 is capable of complete hydrolysis. All the Zr and Zn contained interferes with the determination, Which must be corrected according to certain farmula.· The result is not lower than that obtained by the weight method with animal glue, and the standard error is O.07 %. Therefore, compared with the commonly-used method with K2SiF6, using this method can save the troublesome filtering to avoid negative error caused by the loss of K2SiF6 in transferring and washing. Unlike weight method, it does not need a long operating time and high power consumption owing to repeated burning crucible at high temperature and precipitation.
