Abstract: THe current research situation for transparent ceramics was introduced .It mainly focused on the new method and new technology appeared in the transparent ceramics preparing .Meanwhile it simply discussed the effect of pores and grain boundary organization structure on the transmittance of transparent ceramics, and at the same time the author present her own opinion .
