Thermal Expansion of CaZr4-xTix(PO4)6(CZTP) Ceramics

Abstract: The relation between ion substitution and thermal expansion of CaZr4-xTix(PO4)6(CZTP) ceramics was studied. Lattice parameter a and c of CZTP reduced and coefficient of axial thermal expansion aa changed from negative to positive with increasing x. Average axial thermal expansion increased resulting in the coefficient of thermal expansion of CZTP greatly increasing.
