Abstract: The change was investigated of the density of the Al₂O₃ green with addition of wax or without wax performed in metal die under different pressure‚and also the dimension change during sintering procedure．The experimental results indicated that the relative density of the Al₂O₃ green increases with the addition of wax‚and the density difference of upper and bottom of green decreases to the minimum value under150MPa pressure and with 4.5wt％ wax addition‚resulting in a uniform contraction and precision dimension during sintering．
