Study on the Silicon－Iron－Peach Pigment

Abstract: The results showed that the silicon－iron－peach pigment was a inclusion pigment. Similiar to the fuction of ZrSiO4 crystal in iron－Zirconium‚SiO2‚as the main chemical copmosition‚played a base role in the pigment. And Fe2O3‚as colorant‚was the main coloring composition. Before heat treatment‚the pigment lay between Y（yellow） and YR（orange） im CIE pattern‚and developed earth yellow‚beacause of the exist of ironstone. After heat treatment‚the pigment lay between YR（orange） and R（red）‚and developed peach beacause of the main coloring composition－α－Fe2O3.
